T.E. Inc, located in Renton, WA is looking for a full-time Electrical Power Design Engineer.
Title: Electrical Power Design Engineer
Job Location: Renton, WA with travel within the United States
Travel: Within the United States to conduct inspections at client project sites required as and when required. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time for durations of no more than 5 working days.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master in Electrical Engineering + 30 months of prior work experience as an Electrical Engineer or related
- Design electrical power and lighting projects using software tools for MEP such as AutoCAD, Revit, and virtual lighting simulation.
- Upgrade and improve design power distribution system projects including commercial lighting, wiring, and building power to make them more energy efficient.
- Knowledge of energy code compliances and National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.
- Coordinate and interface with clients and other consulting engineers.
- Resolve and respond to contractors through phones and emails.
- Investigate existing conditions for potential remodel projects and provide the best recommendations.
- Field trips and inspect final constructions.
Skills and Tools Required: Electronics, Analog Circuit for Sensor System, Analog Integrated Circuit Design, Low Noise Analog Circuit Design, Advanced Electric Machines and Drives, Bio Medical Device and Instrumentation, Control and Systems, Linear Systems Analysis, Embedded and real-time system (Raspberry Pi 4), Design with Microprocessors, Digital Signal Processing, MATLAB, Python, Multisim, Cadence, LTspice, PLECS, FPGAs.
Pay: Between $126,630 - $128,000 per year
